Q: toyota camry?
i have an 87 toyota camry with only like 84000 miles on it. the car used to run fine but its been sitting in my dtiveway for about 3 -4 years. the car does not run or anything we can barelyt start it without ether. we got a new fuel filter and new battery and also changed the spark plugs/ checked the fuses if anyone has any ideas i would appreciate it.
A: Gasoline does not last forever... There are additives to put in it before storing it for that length of time... You need to purge the fuel and get some fresh octane to that engine. If the engine is cranking (trying to start but won't) this is likely the problem... If you have new battery and it's not doing anything when you turn the key it's likely that the starter has gone bad.
Q: Why Toyota Camry 99 has a different color in bumpers and side mirrors?
I recently bought a 99 Toyota Camry. The bumpers and mirrors has a different color. Is this by design? Or the color faded up? If it’s by design then what would be the paint code for bumpers? The paint code label on the door says 4M9/FB40.
I need to buy a driver side mirror on EBay, but don’t know my paint code for mirror.

We are trying to jumpstart a 1989 Toyota Camry, but the battery we are jumping it with (that of a 1996 Buick Regal) has side post battery construction. We cannot find the negative end; we kind of need it for this to work. How can we jump start it?

A: as far as i know batteries were built the same , one terminal is positive and the other is negative. Not to be mistaken to know w/c is positve or nagative. Use voltmeter tester , there u have it.Do you know how to use the tester to test the batt. Tester has two leads, the red stands for positve , and the black stands for negative or common.Now if the polariy of the batt. you have is not visible at all..here's how to use ur tester(vom). simply connect the two leads to the batt. terminal..pretending you're using a digital meter ha. so the reading must be positive , if not revese it..and if reads positive..there u are..you are at the right connection.red is pos. and black is neg or common...

A: carry a can of gas and some extra moulah to buy more gas ... the '98 T. can get as much mpg's as 28/30 on level ground at slower speeds and lower rpm's ____ on a mountain road less mpg's and is the car totally in a state of ''''' tune-up'''' road worthy .. any slight miss will affect the mpg's and remember that the ride is 12 years old and new cars get better mpg's than used ... I understand that you need to conserve the $$'s ---- but___start out with a full tank of gas and write down the speedodometer miles and then when you get to your destination fillup again and subtract the spent miles and divide the gas gallons into the miles driven and then you will know for sure what MPG's you are getting..

A: Are you sure you aren't hitting the buttons on the steering wheel by mistake ? I have the 2007 Camry SE and I have noticed that when making tight turns, like in a parking lot, I hit the radio controls on the steering wheel and cause the channels to change on the radio.

A: most of the relays are located in the engine compartment. there will be a black you yellow box located around or close to the battery. This box will have a clip or latch that you can use to open the cover and access the relays.

I drive a 2008 Toyota Camry LE and I am able to get the text to appear on a mp3/wma cd but when I put in another CD with music on it I am unable to view the text that shows the titles. I know that the titles are on the CD but they just don't appear. How do I fix this annoying problem?
A: What you can do is make a MP3 files by converting all the cd into mp3 format and change the name as you like it to appear. The best way i can think of is to use itune and convert your audio cd into mp3 format and burn the songs onto a data cd again itune will do that for you. Itune will also look online (if it is original) for the title tracks so you don't even have to retype it in. when you put the cd into the player it will show the names.
