Q: what in dash navigation fit in toyota 4runner sport edition?

A: Eclipse AVN30D fits best to Toyota 4Runner. I had it in 2005 still working great. You can also use steering controls with this. Here is the website: http://www.eclipse-nav.com/ Cheers Parshu

Q: 2003 Toyota 4Runner Sport Edition Speakers?
What are the specific sizes of these speakers?

A: try going to www.crutchfield.com they should have something on it there.

Q: Can you get a 2009 toyota 4runner sports edition in manual transmisson?

A: No. Toyota has decided to stop making these Generation of 4Runners with Manual Trasmissions. Since 2003 they have been Automatic only. Perhaps even farther back.... Sales of Manuals dropped Considerably and Dealers couldn't sell them. So Toyota stopped making them.

Q: Toyota 4Runner Sports Edition or Acadia SLE?
My husband and I are looking to purchase a new SUV. Theres only three of us but we would like something bigger in case we go out of town or for company. I'm confused on what to pick? The Acadia just came out this year so I'm a little skeptical. The 4Runner is great but is a little smaller however; it has a higher resale value. What do you think? What would you choose? This SUV is for my husband, toddler(in carseat), and myself.

A: ALL of todays cars come with parts from about 20 countries so lets not worry about the brand on the car, I do however believe the Acadia is a superb automobile that you can be very happy with /

Q: Make my 2007 Toyota 4Runner Sport faster and sound better?
I've got a 2007 Toyota 4Runner Sport Edition 2WD 4.7L V8 with a Borla air intake and dual exhaust. The car sounds pretty good right now, but, without spending much money, I want it to sound more like a powerful car. A friend of mine told me to put 2 small holes in the exhaust system, but I don't know where to put them (or even if they will work). I also want to make it accelerate much quicker than it does. I don't want to change the rear end, so what can I do? (Remember, I am on a very, very tight budget). Is there a performance chip that would make it do what I want? If so, where can I find one?

A: Geet the Supercharger fromtoyota for it & Factory Warranty covers it

Q: Poll: Toyota Sequoia Limited Edition or Toyota 4Runner Limited Sports Edition?
I am trying to decide which SUV I will purchase next Spring? I really love them both. I have decided on the color (BLACK). Your thoughts? Muah! To you William!

A: Road Runner 4x4 and you can give me a kiss for the great answer

Q: what is the difference in an SR5 and the sports edition on a toyota 4runner?

A: I'm answering this based upon this being a new vehicle as the sport editions in earlier generations were different than the ones now. In the current generation, the sport has a hood scoop, tubular roof rack, tubular step bars both with graphite finish, a special designed 17" 6-spoke alloy wheel (vs 17" 5-spoke on SR5 model) and 18" 6spoke wheels on most, Charcoal interior, Chrome trim, color-keyed heated outside mirrors, silver tone accented shift knob, rear tonneau cover, and most significantly, the "x-reas" cross-linked suspension. Hope this helps. Ken

Q: What benefit is a V8 over a V6 for an SUV, specifically the Toyota 4Runner? When is a V8 worth the extra cost?
I want to buy a new or used (no earlier than 2006) Toyota 4Runner with the sports edition trim. I plan on keeping my Corolla and using the 4Runner for trips, winter/bad-weather driving, and hauling things. I can't see myself pulling trailers very often, if ever, but I do like more power. Thanks!

A: More power for passing and towing.

Q: What do you think my car is worth to carmax?
I have an 08 white Toyota 4runner sports edition with 12500 miles great condition no dings or dents and want to sell it to carmax what do you think I will get offer for it? Yes :) 12500 actual miles I don't drive much so that is the reason I want to downgrade my car to something cheaper.

A: 12,500 actual miles ? Carmax might pay $500-700 below clean black book. But, try several toyota dealers too. That should be an "in demand" truck.

Q: With gas prices soaring and no end in sight, would now be a bad time to purchase a new SUV?
Looking to get a 4WD Toyota 4Runner V6 Sport Edition. I keep my cars for a minimum of 5 years, but I'm worried about the resale value dropping out of the bottom when gas goes to $5/gallon by the end of this year. If I have to sell it in 3 years because gas is $8/gallon, do you think anyone would want to buy it?

A: If you keep your cars for 5 years and you can afford the gas, why worry about resale value? If gas prices get so high that SUV prices drop like a rock, then SUV resale value will be the least of our worries. We'll be more worried about our jobs, the economy, and the cost of everything that depends on gas prices. This is not necessarily a bad time to buy a SUV. Prices are being discounted and some have good rebates. I'm getting a new '08 4Runner Limited next week. Unless your finances are so tight that the difference in gas cost between a SUV and a small car will break your budget, then go for it and don't worry so much.

Q: How much will a new rear bumper for a '07 Sport Edition Toyota will cost?
The only thing that needs repair is the rear bumper. Unfortunately, my not so great insurance "Geico" wants me to pay 1,000 dollars for my deductible. It was an accident and my fault (stupid me) but I want to find out if its cheaper to buy the part and have it fixed. The dealership is closed today so I just want to find out. I've tried looking online and that didn't help. Please help! I found used bumpers but since my 4runner is in great shape I don't want a scrached up bumper so I'm willing to pay for a new one.

A: The good thing about this problem is that you can definitely buy and aftermarket bumper and have a body shop install and paint for way less that $1000.00 The bumper shouldn't run more than $300.00. If you go to 1 Day Paint and Body they will paint any 1 panel on the car for $250.00 plus environmental fee and tax. You'll save appoximately $300.00

Q: What is the most inexpensive way to get my 2003 Toyota 4Runner outfitted with HID headlights?
I have the Sport Edition with daytime running lights?

A: Well, there is a hella cheap way, but it looks bad, doesn't really increase light output, and blinds other drivers. That is the way posted above. If you want to do it the REAL way, and actually have true HID headlights, the way to go is by doing an HID retrofit from a different vehicle. This will give you actual HID lights with projector headlamps, instead of just giving you a blue bulb, or a cheap HID bulb that isn't correctly projected out in front of you. Typing a quick search into google yielded me this: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6564 Keep in mind that this will cost like $700.

Q: Need personalized license plate ideas...?
I had personalized plates in Oklahoma on my black Toyota 4Runner, Sport edition that spelled out "ocean breeze" phonetically as "oshnbrz". I came home to Texas and found that my personalization won't work because it can only have 5-6 characters. Any ideas for a new personalization that is ocean themed??

A: seabrz ocnbrz ocngrl

Q: 2001 vs 2002 4Runner, Limited vs Sport?
I'm looking to buy a 2001 or 2002 Toyota 4Runner. Do anyone know why the AutoOninfo.net's reliability rating is a little higher in 2001 than in 2002? I know this is only a slight variation, but wondered if there was a known reason. Also, what is generally the more preferred model? The Limited, or the Sport Edition? The Sport Edition does not seem to come with leather, but I love the raised air vent in the middle of the hood. What other differences are there between the two? Do they have the exact same engine? Thanks very much in advance!

A: Same vehicle but limited has more bells and whistles and you can get scoop ordered for limited.
